Making a positive impact since 2011 - one edition at a time!

Impact News is a 100% Black-owned community newspaper, driven by a team of dynamic, positive, and creative professionals under the leadership of a media and communications specialist, Peter Lategan. Established in 2011, we are the only locally owned print publication serving Atlantis and surrounding areas.

We are committed to making a positive change through quality and responsible journalism, using the power of media to change the local narrative — one edition at a time! While challenging the status quo through responsible, quality journalism, a major part of our publication focuses on positive developments, local success stories, and opportunities for entrepreneurs. We are considered by many local decision-makers and our readers alike to be a reliable source of information and a catalyst for positive change.

With over 33 years of experience in media (television, radio, and print), we are able to offer a range of communication, advertising, and related services to businesses, government departments and agencies, retailers and non-profit entities.

In addition to a range of innovative, empowering projects, we also offer training, internships, and opportunities for local youth and entrepreneurs. By working with Impact News, our advertisers and collaborators not only receive great value for their brand or campaign, but also directly support these developmental projects in and around Atlantis.

Our publication is distributed in Atlantis Residential, Atlantis Industrial, Mamre, Pella, Philadelphia, Duynefontein, Witsand, Saxonwold, and surrounding farming communities.
